RYPAX GAMING OFFICE
Rypax Gaming is a casino furniture and packaging materials company. The project site is a 300 sm industrial loft with less than one kilometer from the bordering city of Zhuhai where the company's factory is located in mainland China. The new office offers a convenient location in Macau to streamline works between the production factory, administrative crew, and the casino clients.
With a lot more furniture stocks and prototypes than employees, majority of the space is for storage, workshop, and display area for to showcase Rypax Gaming's design and manufacturing expertise. We located all employees' workstations - only 6 of them - and the private office on the east side of the loft behind an open Pantry / Meeting space. The administrative space could be closed off by movable partitions for security while the workers can access to the workshop and storage area. With only one end of the loft with operable windows and natural light, we also created two artificial "skylights" in the Meeting Room and above the Pantry.
